Martyn Bailey returns this year with Powerhouse dark electro-pop song ‘The
Sparrows and The Nightingales’. It is the lead single from his new album ‘Dolls’
released late February. The song is a cover of the Wolfsheim classic first
released in 1991 produced by Carlos Perón and Bailey stamps his mark on it with
brooding vocals and angelic harmonies. The track thunders across and delivers a
powerful message. This will certainly put Bailey on the map of artists to be
reckoned with!

Since 2004, Komputergirl has explored ways to communicate her fascination with
arctic landscapes, outdated technology and space, through sound. With the help
of an eight track sequencer and old analogue synth samples, she has developed a
distinct and chilly sound stretching from naiv and melancholic synthpop, to a
more atmospheric and conceptual soundscape.
In 2015, Komputergirl was signed to Sub Culture Records, with the debut release
of “Hyperborea” the same year. Hyperborea” is an ice cold hommage to the
Svalbard winter, the snow-covered Alps, Laika, the spacedog, and a mythical land
beyond the North wind. It is also a declaration of love to Komputergirl´s most
influential idols: Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre and Biosphere.

In a multiverse there are infinite possible realities and due to a temporal
shift an alternate reality collided with our own. In this other reality Jet Noir
added vocals and musical parts to the Naked Lunch tracks .
.Dean Baker of the progressive rock band Galahad captured the sounds and mixed
the tracks, followed by Martin Bowes of Attrition mastering them .. so begins
Naked Lunch : ALTERNATE STATES ; Chapter 1

Attrition features the first two song written specifically by Rossetti's Compass
"My Will" and "Desire" which have remain unreleased until now in their original
form. The latest two songs are "Attrition" and "Perfection" plus we have
included 2 covers of songs we really like, Shivering Skin by Tom Wunder and
Love? and Coboloid Race by the Canadian giants of Minimal Electronic music
Rational Youth.
Also included here are four remixes,two of which are new, by Digital ENERGY and
Fearpassage and two that are just too good to be left out by Technomancer/Angst
Pop and ATTRITION.
So why Attrition? Because doing anything worth while is a hard slog, up hill in
the rain. Because it can destroy more than it creates. Because most people take
more than they give. Because walking the road less traveled is a lonely path.
Attrition - Noun "the process of reducing something's strength or effectiveness
through sustained attack or pressure." The EP could have just as easily been
called Fortitude - noun "courage in pain or adversity" but we didn't write a
song called Fortitude.
The 4 original songs on this EP are the 4 pillars of Rossetti's Compass.
"Attrition" - represents relentless pressure, "Perfection" - the need to
succeed, "Desire" - the love for what we do and "My Will" - the means by which
it will be achieved.

In 1997, Cronos Titan had finished their second full-length album, "Valium", but
their underground studio, Sheffield Studios, was flooded. All DAT-tapes, discs,
sample CD's and their computer was destroyed, and with it, the entire "Valium"
album. Or at least so they thought. 18 years later, Per Aksel Lundgreen found 3
DAT-tapes tucked away in a box of t-shirts that had been in a basement this
whole time, and on one of them was the "lost album". Immediately it was digitzed,
remastered and released! This is 1997, being presented for the first time in
2015!
